Something I want to remember...

We're sort of using this blog as a baby book, because....well, we don't have one! So, I want to start adding some of the things that she says as she's talking more and more. Just a minute ago I was in the kitchen, and she walked in and said, "I'm walkin' with Jesus."

Yay, Daddy!

Matt had quite a difficult task of putting together my old bed frame. My very, very, very old bed frame. This was her reaction when she heard him yell from her room that he thought he had finally figured it out. To translate what she says after she walks in her room, she walks over to the bed and says, "I want up, please."

First Night in the Big Girl Bed

As you might be able to tell, she was pretty excited about her new bed. When she climbed on, she started pointing to the different colored stripes and naming all the colors, one by one. It was a challenge to get her to sit still for a picture!

She's never had any sheets or blankets before (just because it never dawned on us to give her any), and when Matt pulled the sheet and blanket up over her to tuck her in, she asked, "Where'd toesies go?"

Bug

We woke up this morning to find this on our living room wall. As I was hitting it with the fly swatter, my daughter said, "Kill it, mommy! Kill it! It scared me!"

I know she's got crazy hair. But I just love the dress. I wish I could find a maternity one in the same style.
